ivic engagement can educate and uplift. Through our quiz lottery initiative, ordinary citizens participated, learned, and were rewarded—some winning sums as high as ₦50,000. It was a modest program with a clear purpose: knowledge should be encouraged, and the people should feel seen.
Helpline Edo marked another year under our watch. We amplified its work, reinforced its relevance, and stood by its mission to serve. Quiet service, when sustained, becomes national strength.
Throughout the year, we ran editorials on grave national issues—pieces that did not flatter power or soften facts. We spoke where silence would have been easier, and we wrote with the understanding that words, when honest, can move conscience.
Above all, we stood firmly in defense of our Royal Father, the Oba of Benin, and the Royal Palace. This was not mere loyalty; it was duty. Institutions that carry the soul of a people must be defended with principle, not noise. ECP did so without wavering.
As a result, our recognition has grown, and our stature has risen—not by self-praise, but by consistent work. Trust, once earned, travels faster than advertisement.
Let it be clearly stated: our fight continues. For the Benin Kingdom. For Edo State. For truth in public life. We will advance without fear, retreat without shame, and compromise never with falsehood.
We move forward under our enduring motto:
The Truth and Nothing But the Truth.
